AquaPHix Etch

Concrete surface preparation, profiling, & deep cleaning

AquaPHix Etch™ is a patented, advanced chemical technology that replaces hazardous acid-etching products and mechanical methods that generate dangerous silica dust. Designed to deliver a consistent concrete surface profile (CSP 1–4), it prepares concrete substrates for both penetrating treatments (e.g., AquaPHix Dry™ or AquaPHix Dry Plus™) and topical flooring systems (coatings, adhesives, or other finishes).

This “Smart Chemical Technology” quickly and safely deep cleans and profiles concrete—indoors, outdoors, or in confined spaces—without the risks or complexity of traditional methods.

It’s as easy as:

 

  1. Spray on with low pressure sprayer
  2. Scrub (if needed)
  3. Wait 1 hour to overnight
  4. Pressure wash or rinse away thoroughly

Application Guidelines

  • Remove loose debris, pooled water, sealants, adhesives, or coatings before application
  • Apply using a low-pressure sprayer
  • Do not add water or dilute
  • Scrub midway through dwell time (auto scrubber with stiff pad or broom recommended)
  • Allow dwell time: 1–3 hours minimum, up to overnight depending on soil level, temperature, and desired profile
  • Rinse or pressure wash thoroughly after dwell period
  • Longer dwell times may be required in colder conditions or for heavily soiled concrete

Note: AquaPHix Etch™ is not designed to remove paints, adhesives, or sealants. These must be removed prior to application when surface profiling is required.

AquaPHix Dry

Concrete waterproofing, protection, & moisture mitigation.

 

Permanent internal waterproofing protection and durability for concrete and cementitious substrates. Designed to provide maximum concrete waterproofing and protection for applications where surfaces will be painted or coated and optimal coating adhesion is required.

 

AquaPHix Dry™ chemically modifies the concrete to create a permanent, integral, and consistent waterproofing membrane from 2mm to 4mm below the surface. The surface profile is maintained, and can be painted or coated with optimal adhesion or left with its natural finish. Provides complete waterproofing protection and versatility, eliminating the need for traditional sealants or coatings.

 

AquaPHix Dry™ is ideal for moisture mitigation and surface preparation prior to painting, coating, sealing, or other flooring treatments. After treatment, the concrete is improved over time by:

  • Reducing RH by 10% or more
  • Reducing alkalinity and regulating pH levels
  • Reducing MVER by 5+ lbs
  • Retaining surface compatibility for any type of future treatment designed for concrete

Application

  • Apply by low pressure pump sprayer to clean, bare (damp or dry) concrete or cement surface. Allow it to soak into the surface. 
  • Using a stiff bristle broom, agitate the product into the substrate.
  • Do not allow any product excess to pool and harden on the surface—wipe away before this occurs.  
  • Allow the product to react for several hours before going back into use or applying a subsequent treatment.

Note: Application rates are highly dependent on age, conditions, and porosity of the concrete. Do not allow excess product to pool and harden on the surface.




AquaPHix Prep

Remediation treatment for acid/corrosives-damaged concrete.

 

Patented “Smart Chemical Technology” for in-situ remediation of acid and corrosives-damaged concrete or to surface prep and rebalance the pH of new concrete. When applied, AquaPHix Prep™ infuses into the concrete and brings excessive insoluble salts to the surface, regulating the pH of the concrete to make it healthier. It provides essential chemical surface prep to ensure adhesion between in-service concrete and patching compounds, coatings, or any other subsequent treatment.

 

It can be safely used indoors, outdoors, and in confined spaces.

Protection For

This advanced chemical technology is a fast and effective restorative and surface preparation method for concrete exposed to acid and corrosive damage while also rebalancing new concrete.  

 

It is ideal for use in:

  • Wastewater treatment plants
  • Concrete exposed to acid and corrosives
  • Food and fruit storage facilities
  • Mining facilities
  • ASR-impacted concrete 
  • Heavy industrial facilities
  • Concrete in high-acidic soil conditions

Application

  • Remove all existing coatings and ensure concrete is fully exposed prior to treatment
  • Pressure wash the entire surface to remove all loose debris and dirt, leaving the cleanest substrate possible. 
  • Apply very liberally by spray or squeegee to fully saturate the substrate. 
  • Avoid rain interference, hot temperatures, or direct sun, which will cause the product to evaporate. Ensure the surface remains wet and the product does not dry out.
  • Leave to dwell for a MINIMUM of 6 hours.
  • Pressure wash or rinse away well.
  • Test the concrete’s pH before and after the AquaPHix Prep™ process. Soak with distilled or de-ionized water and use litmus paper (pH strips). Once the AquaPHix Prep™ process is completed, the concrete substrate should have a pH reading above 7.
  • Substrate age, condition, and temperatures will all affect dwell time and results
  • In colder temperatures (ambient and substrate), longer dwell times will be needed.

Lyft Off

Carpet and flooring glue, mastic, and adhesive remover.

 

Patent-pending, advanced chemical technology for the effective removal of pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) and other carpet and flooring glues, adhesives, and mastics. Lyft Off™ removes all types of flooring mastics including water-based, solvent-based, and asbestos-containing mastics.

 

Lyft Off™ is non-toxic, fast-acting, safe for users, and requires no special equipment or training.  It is easily used on any floor restoration project, improving speed, safety, and efficiency while never compromising results. It ensures projects comply with increasing safety, environmental, and sustainability mandates.

Application

  • All flooring and any loose foreign materials must be completely removed prior to application. Remaining PSA/mastic/glue must be totally exposed. There should be no pooled water or other liquid on the surface prior to application of Lyft Off™. 
  • Lyft Off™ is a 2-part (liquid and powder) solution that is ready to mix on-site as such: 
    • Part/Portion “A” – Liquid Component (pail)
    • Part/Portion “B” – Powder Component (bag)

Add Part 2 (powder) into Part 1 (liquid) and mix well using a mud mixer, box mixer, or other similar mixing tool until totally combined and a creamy, paste-like consistency is achieved (7-10min). Part 1 and Part 2 must be mixed exactly in the Pack quantities. delivered. Do NOT add water or dilute. 

  • Do not mix until ready for application
  • Once mixed, apply by roller to completely cover the underlying substrate.
  • Dwell time ranges from 2 hours to overnight (12 hours), depending on temperature (ambient and substrate).
  • Age, condition and type of flooring glue/adhesive will also affect dwell time.
  • In colder temperatures, longer dwell times will be needed.
